Sunday Kids Club - Beginners

Service Description

We are pleased to offer beginners group coaching sessions on the Sundays with our resident coach Bentley. These sessions are a great opportunity to learn new biking skills, socialise, and have fun. They are designed for kids under the age of 16. There is no minimum age; however, riders must be able to competently ride a pedal bike. Sessions can accommodate up to 8 participants and are an hour and a half long, running from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. This is the first step in your child’s mountain biking journey. They will learn how to correctly ride with level pedals, which is the foundation for developing proper balance, pumping, cornering, and even the basics of jumping. Correct body position is the first and most important core bike skill for any rider. HELMETS are mandatory. They do not need to be full-face, although we recommend additional protection. Gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are also advised, although NOT mandatory. The price DOES NOT include bike hire. This can be booked separately through Brink, the on-site bike shop.
